"Crossover"

During the break between seasons of Star Trek: Discovery, Moms Going Boldly explores Star Trek episodes with ties to the Mirror Universe, continuing in story-related chronological order with the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Crossover."

This episode shows us the results of Captain Kirk's impassioned speech to Spock in "Mirror Mirror" and how it backfired in the worst way possible. Yes, the empire was destroyed, but in its place the Alliance treats Terrans as badly as they treated everyone else. Still, the list of ways to get to the Mirror Universe gets longer and longer, and we are sure we are going to see more of it in future seasons of Star Trek: Discovery.

 

Moms Going Boldly is two moms who are Star Trek fans and who also happen to write about autism, talking about the new Star Trek: Discovery television series. We make comparisons to the older series, the movies, and throw in a little bit of autism when we see it. It's not polished, it won't come out regularly but we're having fun!
